OurAgenda Installation Procedure |
STEP 1 - Unzip the downloaded package |
- Unzip the downloaded package. You will find the following files:
OurAgenda.exe
InstallFinish.exe
Events.zip
OurAgenda-Readme.htm

STEP 2 - Install the Package |
- Run the OurAgenda.exe file. It will copy the necessary files for Palm desktop to install OurAgenda. Get connected by putting your palm device on the cradle and press hotsync. OurAgenda will be
installed on your device. You will see the OurAgenda ICON on your Palm. Click on it to run the program.

STEP 3 - Through Palm Desktop
(Skip this if STEP 2 was successful) |
- From Windows start menu, programs, Palm Desktop group, select Install tool (you can also load Palm Desktop and select Install option from the Palm Desktop View menu)
- Using Add button in the install screen, add OurAgendal.prc and addrsearch.prc files. You should then see these 2 files listed in the Install screen.
- Click done button in the install screen. Now the OurAgenda program is ready to be synced to your palm device.
- Put the palm device on hotsync cradle and click on the hotsync icon on palm device (If the palm device is on the cradle, hotsync may automatically start.
- Now the program will be automatically synced to your palm device and you will see OurAgenda installation activity on your device. Then the OurAgenda ICON will appear on your palm device.

STEP 4 - Optional to Copy Event lists |
The package comes with several event list files that you can import to OurAgenda on your palm. This will make it easy
for you to import public holidays observed in many countries without entering them yourself. This optional step tells you how to get those event files to your Palm.Note: If you were unsuccessful in
Step 2, these files many not have been copied to the directory stated above. You will need to unzip the events.zip file to get these text files. |
- The event lists files supplied with OurAgenda are copied to "C:\Program Files\Softtrends Software Pvt. Ltd.\OurAgenda" directory on your disk.
- Open your Palm Desktop program, click on "Memo" ICON
- From File menu, select Import option.
- Now select txt files from file type and then click on the event list file you want to download to the Palm OS device
- Click open button, the file will be copied to Memo and appear on the screen list
- On next Hotsync,these files will be downloaded to the Palm device

You can download additional event lists by visiting http://www.softtrends.com/, and going to the download section and then
following the steps as described above to transfer them to you Palm device. You can also see the format of the event list files and create your own event lists. OurAgenda will import events from event lists
that are in same format as OurAgenda text files and created by you using a text editor. |
