tApCalc Finance Palm  Installation Procedure

Before you Install

Since this application requires AppForge booster for visual basic to run, it will automatically install the booster on your device during installation.  AppForge booster allows you to run visual basic programs written using the popular AppForge Mobile VB platform. Printing from tApCalcCPA requires PalmPrint program that enables direct printing from Palm devices. If you do not have this program, all functions of tApCalc Finance will work except directly printing output tape files from your Palm device. Installing Under Windows Unzip the Downloaded file Unzip the downloaded file using Winzip. You should see the following files tApCalcFinance.exe tApCalcFinance.prc tApCalcFinance.Palm.Readme.htm tApCalcFinance.Palm.Manual.htm Run Installer Run the EXE file after unzipping. The package contains the Palm executable for both Palm OS 4.x and low version as well as Palm OS 5.x and high version. You will be asked to select the version you desire. Select the version and the program files will be automatically copied to the right directories for download to the Device. Synchronize Synchronize the Palm device for the program to get downloaded to the device.

Installing Under Mac Unzip the Downloaded file Unzip the downloaded file using Winzip. You should see the following files tApCalcFinance.exe tApCalcFinance.prc tApCalcFinance.Palm.Readme.htm tApCalcFinance.Palm.Manual.htm Install the PRC file The PRC file included within the package is the one you will need to install on your device. This is a common PRC file for both Palm OS Version 4.x or below, as well as Palm OS 5.x and above. Use the Palm Desktop tool or simple double click on the PRC file to install it on the device. Install Booster When installing under Mac, the PRC file does not contain the booster specific to the device. Therefore, you will need to download the booster visiting http://www.appforge.com/booster selecting Consumer download, and then selecting Machintosh users at the bottom of the page. It is FREE to download and most boosters are CERTIFIED by Palm.
