Agenda4ol Installation Instruction

STEP 1 – Unzip the Downloaded file

Unzip the downloaded file using Winzip. If you are able to read this file then you have probably already unzipped the file. You should see the following files in this directory

Setup.exe
Setup.ini
Agenda4ol.Arm 1100(4k) v3.00.CAB
ReadmeAgenda4ol.htm

(Note : If you purchased Mips or SH4 version of the program, the Arm above will be named with Mips or SH3)

STEP 2 – Run Installer to install Agenda4ol

On Windows PC

Double click on Setup.exe to run the installation program.
Installation program will copy the necessary files to the proper Pocket PC folder on your PC so that it can be Installed on your Pocket PC. If your device is already on the cradle, the necessary files will be copied to the device instantly otherwise, they will be copied you put the Pocket PC to the cradle.

On the Device when it is on Cradle

Once you put the device on cradle, files will be downloaded to the device and you will see activities on the screen.
You may see some questions that you need to answer in Yes/No. This is because Agenda4ol is written in Visual Basic and it requires Visual Basic components to be installed on your Pocket PC. These components are pre-installed on most devices. However, since some of them do not have these components pre-installed, we package the components with the Installation package. If these components are already installed on your Pocket PC, you will be given an option by the installation package to overwrite it or leave it as is. It is suggested that you do not overwrite these files if your device contains later versions of the files.
Now the program is ready for use. You will find it under Start->Programs (under Programs in Start Menu) as Agenda4ol. Tap on the icon to run the program.

Error running after installation?

After installing Agenda4ol if you see an error saying "Agenda4ol.vb has no programs associated with it .....". then the version of Agenda4ol you just installed is a old version. Please download the new version and Install it.
