Softtrends has a long and proven record of developing application for Windows mobile Smartphones and Pocket PCs. Our engineers are actively involved in developing solutions for Pocket PCs since 2001 and Smartphone thereafter.
In 2002 when Microsoft released their first Smartphone OS, there were many fundamental differences between the Smartphone and the PocketPC and our developers had to master both OS to develop and support our products, and our customers' products. The differences continued with Windows Mobile 2003 OS versions as well. In WM5, Microsoft did a bunch of modifications to create a unified OS but still there are some big differences in the two platforms. Nevertheless, our developers are equipped with the right knowledge to work around the related issues and create applications for all WM5 platforms with as much reusable code modules as possible thus saving our customers both time and money.
